Director Greg Bailey has many ideas for his show this October. The tale, a story of two couples in the 70s reminiscing about the lives they once lived, brings home the idea of marital bliss (and dischord) home. Bailey told his actors, “We — me, you — must not allow this story to bring us down. We must not become mired by the truths of this story.”
His approach to directing is a fresh one. He starts, much like most directors, with table readings. This time, he takes the table reading past the first week. Greg aims to bend, to mold his show with his four able actors.
Together, they, along with Scenic Designer Adam Crinson, Costume Designer Madeline Greenwalt, Lighting Designer Wendy Wojciechowski and props coordinator Katy O’Brien will form a tale which the Studio Theatre will be proud to call its own.
