Bird Plays: Cuckoo’s Nest – 1974

Another installment of BIRD PLAYS (WOO!).

Below are pics taken from the 1974 production of One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest. Another very well known novel-turned-play-and-film, Cuckoo’s Nest is a brilliant story written by a guy that was in a secret government project and got to take free hallucinogenic drugs.  Taking place in a mental ward, the story chronicles the lives of the patients, their struggles, and the consequences of human behavior.  If you read that entire paragraph and DON’T want to read it the novel (or the play), I have only one thing  to say to you: Look at your life, look at your choices.

And check out that dude’s mustache!

– Robbie Dwight, undergraduate actor and bird aficionado
