Denise Savage hasn’t come too far since high school – just ask her. In fact, just ask anyone at this bar tonight and you’ll hear variations on the same sad song: love and loss, ideals and let downs, traumas and memories… and even Santa Claus. There’s Denise – the loner, Linda – the bombshell, Tony – the stud, April – the failed nun, and Murk – the bartender. Emotions run high, borders are drawn, and as the characters confront each other, they confront themselves. So come on in, sit down, have a drink and watch as five long-time acquaintances collide one Monday night in a dingy Bronx bar. They’re looking for love, they’re looking for a change, they’re looking for a way out of limbo.“Conceived with sharp insight into the lives of losers, conveyed with a frisk and often hilarious wit.” – The New York Daily News
